Family and friends gather on Saturday October 22, 2011 to say goodbye to Dan Wheldon, his wife Susie said some words, Clive Wheldon his father hold his helmet, fellow racers carried his coffin. Take a look at Dan Wheldon’s funeral photos below.
Last weekend 33 year-old Dan Wheldon died in a horrible 15-car crash at the Las Vegas Speedway, less than a week later his beloved family, dear friend and loyal fans. Dan Funeral took place at the the First Presbyterian Church, 701 Beach Drive NE at 10:00 a.m Susie Wheldon her sons Sebastian and Olivier were there, so was Dan family father Clive, brothers Ashley, Austin, Elliot and sister Holly, fellow racers joined the funeral, Dario Franchitti Tony Kanaan, Scott Dixon, Danica Patrick.
Dario, Scoot And Tony carried his coffin, Dario’ wife actress Ashley Judd and her sister Winona Judd sang Amazing Grace, it was a very emotional moment but perhaps no more emotional than Susie Wheldon’ words at the funeral…..
‘Though we won’t be able to fit everyone inside, I know that Dan would have wanted the community to share in the celebration of his life and to grieve his passing,
