Mr. Traud, president at his own consulting firm Marvin Traub Associates which he started after he left Bloomingdales the company that he served as CEO and president since 1978. He left in 1992. Mr. Traud got married to his beautiful wife Lee Laufer on September 2. 1948. Just one year earlier after they met thru a mutual friend. He proposed to her after a football game between Harvard and Princeton.
During their 63 years together they welcomed their two sons James and Andrew as well as their gorgeous daughter Margaret. All three have been pretty successful in their own venues. James is a journalist, Margaret funded the electric company Adesso which she still runs and Andrew worked as an executive at Macy’s. Lee and her hubby have four amazing and adoring grandchildren.
Lee Traud studied dance with Martha Graham in the 40’s. she was named chair emerita at The Martha Graham Center of Contemporary dance and became president of its board of trustees on december 1982.
