Finally the name of the man who inspired Adele to write such amazing songs has been revealed, that would be Slinky Sunbeam who used to date Adele until he dumped her breaking her heart.
Adele’s failed relationship with Slinky Sunbeam motivated her to write Someone Like You and Rolling In The Deep from her second Album “21”, the record that last night granted her six Grammy Awards, when she was asked about what would her ex think about her success at the Grammys she said he would be happy for her, in one of her many acceptance speeches she said the song was inspired by a “rubbish relationship” and she also took a little time to thanked her new boyfriend Simon Konecki.
The name of that mysterious man who broke Adele’s heart and inspired those incredible songs is Slinky Winfield also known as Slinky Sunbeam, he is a musician and actor who dated Adele until he broke up with her and quickly got engaged to a model named MORWENNA LYTTON- COBBOLD
So what do we know about Slinky Winfield? He might remind you of Jimmy Hendrix or that actor Renoly Santiago who starred next to Angelina Jolie in Hackers (Ramon aka Freak), but the truth is that 25 year-old Slinky Winfield or Slinky Sunbeam if you prefer was born in the UK attended at The National Youth Theatre of Great Britain, recently starred as Morgan in the 2011 comedy film Killing Bono along Ben Barnes and Martin McCann who portrays Bono lead singer of the Irish band U2.
Other film Slinky Winfield starred at are 7Lives the thriller in 2011, in the 2009 television series Freak, in the theater he appeared in Platform (The Old Vic Tunnels), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (World Expo, Shanghai), S’warm (Complicite/NYT) and Skunk (Soho Theatre)did I mention he is also a musician? Used to be a bassist with Laura Marling, he has also collaborated with Girls Aloud,The Kooks, Florence and The Machine, The More Assured, Hares, Jamie T, The Maccabees and Mumford & Sons. Slinky And certainly we need to mention his flamboyant modeling side, for Nokia, Vitamin Water, PlayStation, Puma, Bed Head, Virgin Mobile, etc.
As for his relationship with Adele, sources close to them said..
Adele likes to keep part of her life back for herself, but it’s an open secret that Slinky was the guy who inspired ‘21. He’s a seriously good-looking guy. He has a great body and likes to wear vests to show it off. And he has this crazy hair which reminds me of Jimi Hendrix — it’s really wild and untamed.
“It’s easy to see what attracted Adele to him. He’s a really popular guy, the life and soul of the party, and he’s a musician as well. But while Adele has the knack for writing songs which the whole world can tap into, Slinky’s material is more underground and kind of art-school trendy.”
“Slinky isn’t the kind of guy you can tie down,” the friend says. “It was always going to end in tears, and those tears were always going to be Adele’s. They never lived together, and I can’t really recall Slinky ever describing Adele as his girlfriend,”
Slinky and Adele met in the early months of 2008 in February to be exact, thru mutual friends, they began dating not long after, Last September it was revealed Adele rekindled her friendship with her ex-boyfriend who today we know is Slinky Winfield, a few month before she said she would do anything to have him back into her life.
Just to make something clear here, apparently Adele’s ex-boyfriend who dumped her and wanted royalties from her songs is not Slinky, but her first serious boyfriend, I think that would be Chris ‘Boomer’ McCann.
