Leila Luliana da Costa Vieira Lopes was born on February 26th, 1986 in the providence of Benguela in Angola to Cape Verdean parents, She is currently studying Business Management in England. Then on December, 2010 in Luanda she was crowded Miss Angola plus she received the photogenic Award and the chance to represent Angola In the 2011 Miss Universe Pageant in Brazil, where she became Miss Universe 2011.
Leila Lopes the new Miss Universe, won the title, Olesya Stefanko from Ukraine was the 1st runner-up, Priscila Machado from the country hosting the event was the 2nd, runner-up, the Philippines represented by Shamcey Supsup on 3rd and Lou Zilin from China came on 4th.
