The legendary Dick Clack passed away after suffering a massive heart attack at his home, He was 82. Mr. Clark is survived by his sons Richard and Duane, daughter Cindy and his beloved wife Kari Wigton Clark.
We all know the legacy behind 82 year-old, but I think we all agree that the most memorable are the years Dick Clark hosted Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve. And certainly we all love to see him during the counting down to midnight as the ball dropped in New York’s Times Square. On 2004 Dick suffered a stroke that left him partially paralyzed and unable to speak. He recovered and was back on New Year’s eve at Times Square along Ryan Seacrest.
He had been in St. John’s Hospital in Santa Monica, Calif., after undergoing an outpatient procedure Tuesday night. He suffered the heart attack following the procedure and attempts to resuscitate him were unsuccessful.
as for his personal life, we can tell you that he has been married three times, the first time to Barbara Mallery (1952-1961) the couple had one son Richard, his second wife is Loretta Martin 91962-1971) they had two children Duane and Cindy.
Dick Clark’s third wife is Kari Wigton Clark who got married to the famous presenter in 1977, 69year-old Kari Wigton Clark was once his executive producer while he hosted Pyramid. Kari and his dear husband had no children.
