Meet Molly Hullis she is the first wife of the late Bee Gees funder Robin Gibb, Molly is also the mother of Gibbs’ eldest children Melissa and Spencer and we came across her name after media claimed Molly’s ex- husband allegedly hired a hitman to have her assassinated.
According to media Robin Gibb’ whole plan to have Molly Hullis killed was during the time he was submerged in drugs, he barely ate or slept and was always high on speed and hallucinations came and go all the time. It was during one of those episodes that Gibb believed Molly was having an affair and planned to steal millions from him. How? Gibb believed Molly would forced him to go public about her affair with this a unnamed lover, she would later sued him and at the end she would get away with £5 million. So he broke into Molly’s home to look for the evidence that would back up his hallucination.
He went to the police with a bunch of papers that he said contained the evidence of Molly’s plan, she denied everything and tried to accused him of burglary, but the thing was that the house where Molly’s lived at the time was still the marital home
So Gibbs send threatening telegrams to Molly’s lawyers in the UK, those telegrams were just revealed by the FBI, the case was close when Molly didn’t press charges.
Holy and Robin’s marriage was not all bad, there were years when they were happily in love.
65-year-old Molly Hullis was a 20-year-old receptionist at Robert Stigwood’s management company NEMS when she met 17-year-old Robin, they began dating not long after that. On November 5th, 1967 they got involved in a terrible train crash in Hither Green, where 49 died. Molly escaped death when Robin pulled her out of the train thru a window.
Molly who was already living with her famous boyfriend married him on December 8th, 1968, she gave birth to her first child a boy they named Spencer on September 21st, 1972, two years later they welcomed they daughter Melissa. Their relationship became estranged when he spend most of his time in the US while Molly who refused to move, stayed with the children at their home in Surrey.
It was rumored Gibb, cheated on Molly way too many times, and she caught him cheating at a New York Hotel in May 1980. Molly was grated with the custody of her children who were ages 12 and 10 at the time, they saw their father again when they were 18 and 16.
Robin loss his battle to cancer in May 20th, 2012, Molly Hullis is still alive, she has been living in Cyprus for the past three years with her new husband Carl Veakins, she is now known as Molly Veakins, served with the Chair Runymede Children with Disabilities, her son Spencer now a 39-year-old man followed his father’s steps and is a musician living in Texas while 37-year-old Melissa Gibb is an Arabic translator, she lives in London.
