Professional hockey player Dustin Penner is about to be back on the market, as his aspiring actress wife Jessica Welch has file for divorce, this will be Jessica second failed marriage she used to be married to Richard Zednik.

Nearly a year ago Jessica Welch and Los Angeles Kings left wing Dustin Penner were celebrating their January 29, 2011 wedding, he became Jessica’s daughter Ella Zednik’s stepdad, Ella’s born in 2004 to Canadian- French Welch and her father Slovak professional hockey Richard Zednik, Jessica and Zednik got married in 2005. Zednik has a death scare back on 2008 when Olli Jokinen tripped over another player and ended up cutting Zednik external carotid artery with his blade in Buffalo, Jessica flew from their home in South Florida (where they have been living since 2007)to be with him, after his recovery he came to play for the 2008-09 season.

Jessica filed for divorce in September, 2009, allegedly Jessica got $1M settlement and a large amount in child support. Welch and Penner had no children together, in her petition for divorce she cited irreconcilable differences in L.A. County Superior Court.

32 year-old Jessica Welch was born in Montreal, Canada is also a model and actress, has been in the cover of many magazine like Esquired, Summum and ad campaigns. As an actress she starred in the 1993 film Le Sexe des Etoiles, portrayed Minnetaki in the television series Tales of the Wild, and Watatatow from 1997 to 2000.

Welch also starred as Fanny Labruzzo in the t,v series Bonnano: A godfather’s Story, in 2003 she starred as Eliza Favarro in the t.v series Largo Winch, some of her last acting jobs was in Cheech in 2006.
