U.S. Military History, ‘American Sniper’ Author Chris Kyle was killed at close range along with his neighbor Chad Littlefield by the hand of another fellow Army veteran Eddie Ray Routh who was suffering from post traumatic stress syndrome, nobody knows what made Routh turned the gun of his friends. Chris Kyle leaves behind two children and his lovely wife Taya Kyle.
Kyle retired from the Navy Seals in 2009, after his wife begged him to retire and he realized after 10 years in service it was the time for him to take care of his family.
“My heart couldn’t take it any more and our life was falling apart. “He was never safe. It didn’t matter if there was a bounty or there was never a bounty,” says Taya. “I do remember sitting down at the table with him, it was our kitchen table and feeling terrified. Telling him, ‘I couldn’t do it any more’,” says Taya.
“I could not bring myself to ask him to stop. It was his dream job,” says Taya
Kyle was married to his beautiful, loving wife 38-year-old Taya R. Kyle (maiden name Taya R Studebaker), with whom he had two children 8-year-old son and 6-year-old daughter; they lived in their home in Midlothian, Texas.
Taya Kyle is the daughter of Kent Studebaker and Kim Scott Studebaker from Gladstone, Oregon, her father a former Marine that served in Vietnam. She met Kyle in Cali between one of his deployments.
