Can we be sure Orly was in fact Saif Al Islam’s girlfriend not ex-girlfriend? but even if that is already in the past wouldn’t you like to find out more about Ms. Weinerman.
Orly Weinerman was born on June 21t, 1971 in Tel Aviv, Israel. She went to IDC Herzliya followed by her time at Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute.
While she is quite unknown in other parts of the world in her natal Israel she is a top soap opera actress, one of the most important roles in television was back on 1987 as Orly in the t.v series Ha-Hofesh Ha’Acharon, 10 years later she starred in the t.v series Florentine the next year we saw her as Channell in Papar Layla and as Natalie in Only In Israel during the 1998- 1999 season.
About 6 years ago we saw her in Mishpachat Kamichli, but nobody can’t forget her as Ogen in the t.v Series Shemesh where she appeared from 1997 to 2004.
It is believe that Orly Weinerman and Saif Al Islam met in 2005, they started dating the following year but due to their religious belief they were not allowed to be seen together in public, in order to see in each other they will meet in foreign countries like Italy where friends close to Orly said they met regularly.
Orly would arrived and she was taken in a car where Saif was staying, this way they avoided the press from taking pictures, this same friend allegedly said that Orly and Saif were considering getting married in order to do so, Orly was suppose to convert to Islam. It is unknown when they split up. Orly Weinerman has a contestant at this 2009 season off Dancing With The Stars in Israel.
Today we hear once again from Orly, and her plead might surprise you. She is pleading for former British Prime Minister Tony Blair to intervene in Saif’s trial and spare him from death penalty.
“Saif worked closely with Mr. Blair before he was captured. The two are old friends — it is time that Mr. Blair returned some loyalty,” Weinerman said. “Mr. Blair is a man of God — as a Christian he has a moral duty to help a friend in need.”
“You should just ask Mr. Blair what a serious, honorable person he [Saif] is,” she continued. “Killing him will achieve absolutely nothing, beyond punishing him for who his father was. Absolutely everything must be done to save him.”
