A young man from South Africa was severely beaten by a white shark loosing his life before arriving at the hospital. He was identified as Ngidi Msungubana, Check the photos, I must warn you they are very graphic.
Ngidi Msungubana was just 25 when he was bitten in the arms and the stomach pretty badly by a white shark while he was surfing at Second Beach in Port St Johns. Witnesses said Ngidi wrestled with the shark for approximately 5 minutes, they could see the water around him turning red, lifeguards were able to pull him out of the water, he was then rushed to the hospital but sadly he died on his way there.
‘The man was surfing and was in water which was only around a meter and a half deep when the shark struck. Witnesses who were near him at the time said he wrestled with the shark for around five minutes as the water turned red. A fellow surfer then helped a lifeguard to get the man out of the sea and onto the beach.
‘There happened to be a doctor on the beach who helped to treat the man at the scene, and an ambulance then arrived to take him to hospital. However the surfer had been bitten on both of his arms and his stomach and he sadly died on the way to the medical facility.’
