Can you imagine lived for two months in a frozen car, for two months eating just snow? unthinkable and some might says impossible, but Peter Skyllberg made this chilling hell possible as he was trapped in his car since December.
Peter Skyllberg is the 44 year-old man from Orebro in central Sweden was trapped in his car in Umea in northern Sweden, where his car was covered in snow since December 19th. Mr. Skyllberg said he survived by eating snow. He was rescued when a passerby in a snow mobile scrape snow from the window took a peek in the window spotting movement, quickly calling for assistance.
Skyllberg was taken Umea University Hospital where he is recovering in the ICU. More recent reports showed that it’s been 20 years since Peter’s last had contact with his family, he was being sued over a £150,000 debt, he also had broken up with his girlfriend, some think he might have been trying to take his life, although police first said he was a nature lover and he was on an expedition to take a photograph of an elk. He has warm clothes and a sleeping bag in his car, I guess that if he really wanted to take his own life he would not have been carrying those, right?
