Marina Keegan was described as a promising writer, she recently graduated from Yale, but today this young woman was tragically killed in a car crash in Cape Cod, her boyfriend Michael Gocksch is in stable condition.
22 year-old Marina Keegan was going to be one the mazing writer at the New Yorker sin June 11th, she just graduated from Yale adhere dreams of becoming a writer were just days ahead, sadly during this holiday weekend Marina was at Cape Cod where she was involved in a terrible car crash that ended her young life.
Marina Keegan graduated from Buckingham Browne & Nichols High School in 2008, after that she went on to study English and Writing concentration at Yale, last May she was an intern at the New Yorker, plus she wrote at Yale’s Daily News, and was president of the Yale College Democrats and led Occupy Wall Street protests her boyfriend 22 year-old Michael Gocksch from Centerpoint, NY also graduated from Yale, he did his high school studies at Regis High, he wrote at the Yale Herald (The Bulldog).
It was during this holiday weekend that Marina and boyfriend Michael went to Cape Cod, but on Saturday at about 2:00 p.m while on his Lexus at on Route 6 in Dennis, he loss control of the car struck a guardrail on the south side of the highway and then crossed over two lanes and struck the guardrail on the northside of the highway and rolled over twice, Marina died on the scene Gocksch was taken to the hospital with minor injuries

Last month it was reported that Marina’s boyfriend Michael Gocksch was facing charges of reckless driving and motor vehicle homicide by reckless operation when he fell sleep at the while while he was driving with Marina to her parents’ house for dnner. Today it was reported that Mr. Gocksch won’t face those charges
