Another crazy man went on a shooting spree killing several innocent people at Texas A&M University on Monday. He has been identified as Thomas A. Caffall, who according to his mother has been struggling with his mental health.
35-year-old Thomas Alton Graham Caffall III was born on August 25, 1976 in Bryan, Texas to 65-year-old Linda Graham Weaver and Thomas Caffall now deceased, The couple got married on June, 1970 in Dallas County, Texas. Caffall is believe to have a sister 33-year-old Courtney Smith Clark from his mother’s first marriage to Thomas Caffall, some media suggested he also had a brother
Both Linda and Courtney talked about the massacre by the had of Thomas Caffall..
“Our hearts go out to the families in involved,” Clark said. “We are just saddened by this.” Courtney Said.
“The minute I saw the TV I knew it was him,” she told the publication. “I’ve been that worried about him.” Linda Weaver said. “”If you’re going to commit suicide, why take all these other people with you?”
Richard Weaver Caffall’s stepfather said Thomas quit quit job 9 months ago, he said he was not going to work for anyone again, Mr. Weaver added that he was sadden by the tragedy but he was not surprised Thomas was the author of this atrocity.
“He was crazy as hell. At one point, we were afraid that he was going to come up here and do something to his mother and me.”
“We were hoping he’d kill himself before doing something like this. We are just devastated for the families this SOB killed. He was a ticking time bomb.” Richard Weaver said
Thomas Caffall’s previous addresses were in Little River Academy in 2006, Temple, Texas from 2007- 2010 and College Station his current address. He graduated in 1995 from Bryan High School. We bumped into Thomas Caffal’s father Thesis/dissertation “A Saline Water Research Center.”
On Caffall’s Facebook profile he describes himself as a divorce (where is ex-wife? Who is Caffall’s ex-wife?) Christian man with a clearly obsession to firearms.
According to media 41-year-old Precinct 1 Constable Brian Bachmann dropped by Thomas Alton Caffall’s house the Texas A&M University campus on Fidelity Street around to serve an eviction notice (this eviction was filed at the Brazos County Court on Thursday against Caffall is was a forcible entry detainer), when he was shot by Caffall using a rifle.
He then began shooting randomly, killing 51-year-old Christopher Northcliffe and wounding College Station officer, Justin Oehlke in the calf, and Barbara Holdsworth.
Thomas Alton Caffall was gunned down and taken into custody, he was fired several times in the legs and torso, while he was taken into custody he pleaded for forgiveness. Caffall succumbed to his injuries.
